Yıldız Palace was built on high land overlooking the Bosphorus and the Marmara Sea and is the last great palace of the Ottoman Empire in Istanbul. The palace is one of the examples of Turkish-Islamic palace architecture with its “Palace in the East – Cuma Mosque in the West” layout. It covers a total area of ​​500,000 square meters and consists of three main parts: structures related to state administration, private sections belonging to the Sultan and his harem, and the outer garden and surrounding structures.
