The Museum is one of the most important tourist destinations in Istanbul that informs visitors about the development of industry, transportation, and communication in Turkey. It consists of two separate historical building complexes settled on a space of over 27,000 square meters and serves as a significant hub for social, cultural, and educational activities. The museum also has a cafe, a pub, and a restaurant with a great Golden Horn view.

Rahmi M. Koç Museum is a private industrial museum located in Istanbul and is dedicated to the history of transportation, industry, and communications. The museum was founded by Rahmi M. Koç, a member of the Koç family, one of the richest families in Turkey, and is known as the retired chairman of the Koç Group. The museum was established in 1991 and opened to visitors on December 13, 1994. Located in Hasköy, on the northern shore of the Golden Horn, the museum is housed in two historical buildings. It is open to visitors every day except Monday and its general manager is Ertuğrul Duru.
