Route T2 of the historical tram on Istiklal Street is also known as the Nostalgic Tram. Trams started running in 1871, and they were designed to look like stylish, gorgeous, old red trams from the last century. The T2 Line travels from Taksim Square through Istiklal Street for a little less than 1.5 kilometers, stopping at 3 locations.
