Maiden’s Tower, is an enchanting symbol of love, mystery, and history. Built in 408 BC by Athenian general Alcibiades, the tower served as a customs station. Over time, it transformed into a defense tower under Byzantine rule and a lighthouse after the Ottoman conquest. Restored and renovated, the Maiden’s Tower showcases a blend of architectural styles. Legends, like the tale of a king’s daughter and Hero and Leander’s tragic love, add fascination to your visit.
